Nura is focused on using Artificial Intelligence to educate and empower people. She is currently based in Tucson, Arizona and shares her time between her non-profit, learning, and teaching.
Nura is the founder of the Origin Lab, a nonprofit collective that uses creativity and technology to make it easier to do good. The Origin Lab builds educational resources that help empower changemakers in local communities. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Artificial Intelligence Ethics & Society at Cambridge. When she’s not building and learning about AI, she’s teaching others how to use emerging technology in a way that helps people grow.
Nura spent 10 years in NYC where she worked in technology and advertising. She was the Vice President of Learning & Development for McCann Worldgroup before leaving New York to focus full time on exploring how Artificial Technology can be used to help strengthen our communities. Nura believes that AI, when used strategically, can educate and empower people.
